Learn to sell in real-time without having to be a geek.

We started with the idea of flash sales and making it as easy as pushing a button or sending a text message.

Our goal is to empower businesses and their employees to use flash sales to make things happen, right now.

Smart businesses know profits come from delivering a consistent experience. We use flash sales to help managers solve everyday challenges and make things a little more fun.

We think of mobile devices like phones and iPads the same way we used to think about remote controls and TV. "Don't like something? Change the channel!" We agree with Anil Dash, who coined the term Pushbutton Web.

After nearly a decade of helping hundreds of the nations' largest malls and their tenants communicate with each other, we saw the Internet was enabling consumers in a way that hurt Main Street businesses. We saw an opportunity to reverse-engineer those technologies, but in a way that empowered a real-live employee to provide better customer service.

Where other companies look at flash sales and think deep discounts, we see flash sales as a way to coordinate with dozens or even thousands of people, getting results in as little as two minutes. We call this "Service Dialtone": If employees have the ability to instantly crowdsource customers, partners and fellow employees, we think they can be successful in any job they're given.

We're here to find the spark of genius in each person, and make sure businesses can connect with that person at the time they're most needed.

We love the problem more than the solution.

There are many companies out there that are clearly doing it just for the money. Use their services and see for yourself.

We're doing this because this is our passion. Our story began over 20 years ago when we wrote the search engine for the first Apple "App Store", a CD-ROM that was shipped to every Apple retailer in the country. Any retailer could help customers find Apple software that could be a potential fit, and if interested, let the buyer try out a demo version of the product. For years we have believed that everyone has a contribution and now, with mobile devices, everything we've believed in is coming true.

Since then, we have been fortunate to work and learn from smart people at companies like Coca-Cola, Jones Lang LaSalle, and TCI Technology Ventures, the venture arm of the world's largest cable TV operator.

We learned that software that is not made well keeps you at work late. Pushbutton software should stay out of the way until the time you need something, and then get the job done quickly.

If we're able to help our customers deliver a more consistent experience, even just a little bit, every effort along the way will have been well spent. We think it's just that important.

Thanks for reading this far. If anything we've said rubbed you the wrong way, we hope you'll let us know. connectme@shortmail.com
