Some frequently-asked questions.
How do I start a flash sale?
Use your phone to text us, or for an added pop, send photos. It's a little like chatting with a concierge. Tell us what you want to sell and we'll take it from there.
What if I go over my plan limits?
If you go over your allowance you will receive a polite message from us asking you to upgrade. That's it. You'll still have access to all your data and the service will run as usual. However, if you continue to go over your limit more than two times, we reserve the right to restrict flash sales in excess of your limit.
Can I change my plans at any time?
Changing plans is really simple. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
What are my payment options?
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the Discover card through our online payment system. You may also pay by check or Square.
Is there a minimum commitment?
ConnectMe is a month-to-month service. There is no contract or long-term obligation. You are billed on a monthly basis, and if you cancel you will not be billed again.
How reliable is your service?
We use Amazon to host web data. We store lists in Google Docs. Follow @connectme on Twitter to be notified of scheduled maintenance.
Do I need to download a special app?
ConnectMe works on any phone, no download needed. It uses SMS text messaging--the industry standard for messages that work with any domestic carrier, on any modern handset.
We chose the 5STRZ "57879" short code because it's easy to text.
